GM Korea held Chevrolet's authentic American SUV traversee launch event on the 3rd and 4th of the month in Yangyang-gun, Gangwon Province and entered into a pre-contract. It plans to aggressively increase its market share in the large SUV market with the largest interior space, excellent driving ability, and advanced safety specifications compared to its peer model.

The industry is in the midst of the fact that Hyundai Palisade, Kia Motors Mojave and Ssangyong G4 Rexton are already in the domestic market, and Traversee needs a different Marketing strategy to enter the market dominated by Ford Explorer.
To this end, GM Korea selected Actor Jung as an advertising model for Traversee, and it is very unusual for GM Korea to launch Marketing ads with top stars. In the meantime, GM Korea has been conducting differentiated Marketing by using Actors or social network service (SNS) influencers that match the image of the car. This time, he will launch aggressive Marketing with the recruitment of top stars. Jung will actively promote Traversee, including filming TV commercials and attending launch events.
Price policy and market positioning have also changed significantly from before. Recently, GM Korea has joined the Import Car Association and is seeking to transform itself into an import car company. This is because the price policy may change due to the change in market positioning. Traversee' domestic launch price is 45.2 million ~ 55.22 million won.
Traversee is about 10 million won more expensive than Palisade or G4 Rexton, which starts in the mid 30 million won range, but it can secure competitiveness at a price more than 10 million won lower than the competitive Ford Explorer (54.6 million won).

On the other hand, Traverseee, which was released on the day, has a body length of 5.2m and a wheelbase of more than 3m, securing the maximum interior space of its class model.
